Smile Train International Visits UCH, Discuss Areas of Progress, Challenges
Smile Train International, in collaboration with the Cleft Care Team University College Hospital, Ibadan on Tuesday, paid a courtesy visit to the Management of the Hospital to discuss areas of progress and challenges.
The hospital management under the leadership of Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, received the team at the boardroom of the hospital.
The vice president, SMILE Train International, and also the regional director of Africa, Mrs. Nkeiruka Obi while addressing the management of the hospital said one of the things that Smile Train International has done is to ensure that there is continued capacity enhancement of the team, notably at the level where the need to bring care close to the patients, an aspect where UCH Ibadan as a partner is leading.
She added that the courtesy visit is done majorly to discuss areas of progress and challenges.
The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, represented by the Chairman Medical Advisory Committee Dr. Abiodun Adeoye lauded the Smile Train International for putting smiles on the faces of people.
In a release posted on the hospital facebook page, Prof. Otegbayo promised that the management would do continue to provide support to the NGO.
