Muslim Community Hails Oyo Governor For Declaring Hijra Holiday

The Muslim Community of Oyo State writes to commend H.E. Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE for declaring Wednesday, 19th July, 2023 (1st of Muharram, 1445), even without any prompting or reminder.

The Group through its chairman,Alhaji Ishaq Sanni and Alhaji  Siyanbade

Secretary-General, appreciated the state governor saying "A good deed should be commended.

" As we always indicate, equity  between the two major religions in all spheres in the affairs of Oyo State, is all that we clamour for.

"May Almighty Allah continue to help you in all that you do in the equitable governance of the pace-setter state". They jointly said.
