My Focus is to become Olubadan - Ladoja

A former Governor of Oyo State and Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, High Chief Rashidi Ladoja, has notified that he has no interest in the elevation of 11 high chiefs to the status of beaded crown Oba.

The Otun Olubadan further stated that the only crown he was eyeing is that of the Olubadan of Ibadan.

Speaking with Newsmen at his Bodija residence in Ibadan, after observing Eid prayers at the University of Ibadan Muslim praying ground on Wednesday, Ladoja said it was not until a person wears crown that people tend to give respect.

Ladoja reacting to date fixed for the installation and the promotion of 11 Ibadan High Chiefs to beaded crown Obas, stated for Friday, July 7, said that it was no use to have several bead carrier Oba in Ibadan.
