Guber Race ; Makinde Wins Polling Unit,Voters Jubilate

Oyo State Governor and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Candidate, Engineer Oluseyi Makinde won his polling unit with 174 votes.

The Governor alongside his wife Tamunonimi cast their votes at Ward 11, Unit 01, Abayomi Iwo-Road in Ibadan North East Local Council at around 10.35am.

In his polling units,  PDP had 174 votes,  The All Progressives Congress (APC) scored 28, Accord Party scored 5, Labour Party scored 3 votes , and 4 were voided.

 While collating the votes at ward 11, units 1, voters could not hide their feelings as many of them shouted for joy of victory.

For the house of assembly poll,the PDP had 160 votes, APC scored 30, Accord 9 , Labour Party (LP), scored 5 votes and 9 were voiled
