Make Positive Impacts With Your Vote - NGO Preaches

A Non Governmental Organisation "Shokesta Development Initiative said  the only chance to make positive impacts in the society is by voting the right candidates.

The Founder, Mrs Soyebi Abiodun, popularly known as "Shokesta Woman" who noted this, added that every registered voters have the right to choose the candidates of their  choice, thus urged eligible voters to come out enmass during governorship and state assembly elections stated for March 11, 2023.

In a phone chat with the founder recently, Mrs Soyebi who is also the founder of Awe International city of peace maintained that, involving oneself in the Nigerian election process gives power to make key decisions on the quality of life an individual intend to live.

Her words "Voting is your chance to stand up for the issues you care about , such as affordable housing, economic justice, environmental protection, and quality education".

"The community which is made up of family, friends, church ,loved ones and neighbors, seeks for good leadership to make life better for those who live in it, every person in the country pays taxes, yet most people do not know how that money is being utilised. In a nutshell, voting the right candidate will give you chance to ask questions about how money is being spent.

 SHOKESTA DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE  has been in the forefront of providing succor and ameliorating the plight of the vulnerable groups in the society.
