Teacher Forces student to Drink Urine in Ibadan

An Agricultural Science teacher of the International School Ibadan, Mrs J.Z. Abu, on Wednesday was alleged to have forced a student Fayo Opeseitan to drink his urine during class.

According to the "Anchor Online" the  boy of JSS 2C was said to have asked permission of his teacher, to go and urinate three times but the teacher didn't allow him, this made the boy to urinate in a container when he was pressed and couldn't hold it.

Mrs Abu, who is known for wearing Hijab, saw what the boy did, and commanded him to drink the urine in the presence of his classmates and also told him to rinse the container and discard it.

Fayo did as the teacher instructed and  throw away the container used.

On hearing this incident, many parents are beginning to express fears over the welfare of thier children, wondering what could have led the teacher to such act.

Consequently, report has it that the incident happened a day after the dismissal of Hijab case by the Oyo State High Court.

Recall that hijab crisis had earlier rocked the International School located on the campus of the University of Ibadan.

Meanings are being read to the incident as some alleging that Alhaja Abu's action is a direct assault on a Christian student.

It was also gathered  that the incident coincided with the day the teacher’s husband, a lecturer in the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ibadan was announced a Reader.

“In these days that spiritual meanings are read to issues, one needs to ask why she did that on the day her husband was promoted”, an insider said.

All effort to reach the school principal, Mrs Phebean Funke Olowe, proved abortive at the time of filling this report.
