ABUAD VC pledges support for Ekiti OMPAN

The Vice Chancellor, Afe Babalola University (ABUAD), Professor Michael Ajisafe, has promised to work in a close collaboration with the Ekiti Chapter of the Online Media Practitioner's Association of Nigeria (OMPAN).

This, he assured during a-day visit by the association to his office to deliberate on areas the body could partner with the institution for effective disseminations of information.

Ajisafe advised the association to maintain consistency, adding that only verified news should be reported by the members.

He also assured to carry the association along with upcoming  events and programmes of the Institution.

Dr. Taye Babaleye, the Head of Program in the Department of Communications and Media Studies and Mrs. Omolola Oluwasola, a Specialist in Advertising and Digital Marketing led the Ekiti OMPAN team to the Office of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Michael Ajisafe where they were well received. 

Dr. Taye Babaleye while speaking stated that online Media practice is now global, not only limited to Nigeria.

In their opening remarks,  the State Chairman and Secretary, Abere Ayodele and Emmanuel Adeniran of the Ekiti State OMPAN commended the founder of the Afe Babalola University, Are Afe Babalola (SAN) for contributing immensely to the growth and development of his community and Ekiti state at large.
