Alao Akala to increase the pacesetting bar of Oyo state - group

The steering efforts of the All Progressive Congress,( APC)led government at federal and state levels to energies good governance  has been acknowledged just as Alao Akala to was called upon to contest in the governorship election of Oyo 2019.

A constituted body and political associate of a former governor of Oyo State, Alao Akala made this recommendation at a state meeting and a discourse session on the way forward in Oyo state 2019 governorship election held at Premier Hotel Ibadan.

The Akala supported group said there is need to seperate the chiff from the chaff out of the gubernatorial aspirants as it presently an all comers affairs.

" there is need to locate the right person for Oyo governorship 2019, someone who can increase the pacesetting bar of Oyo state and sustain both social and political development of the state with proper hindsight and experience".

A communique signed by the event chairman, Dr Fola Akinosun reads in part "To satisfy the yearnings of the people of the state, it is imperative to make  a clarion call on Otunba Alao Akala to contest in the governorship election of Oyo 2019 so that the succor, humane posture,economic activities, infrastructural development that was once entrenched in governance of the state during the past tenure could be repeated with renewed vigor ".

The joker of wining the 2019 governorship by any political platform is to present an Alao Akala because of serious yearnings for him by the generality of people in the state".

The events had in attendance mrs Wumi Oladejo, representing Ogbomoso North, Kemi jayeoba, mr Solomon Akande, Ogbomoso South, Mr Ojo Olagunju, Orire State Counstituency ,Mr Gbola Adetunji,Former Commissioner for health, Olu Abiala and others.
