Every president have the right to a second tenure - Kalu/ Shittu

Ex-Gov. Orji Kalu of Abia State has disclosed that every president and vice-president across the world have the right to a second tenure if they wish.

" Our president and vice deserves a second term but whether they wish or not, we know they have done well and deserves another term,"he said.

Minister of communications, Adebayo Shittu, said that the Buhari administration has performed excellently adding the PDP did not achieve what the president has achieved in two and a half years.

"The truth is, Buhari is doing so much but little is been said about them. Buhari has created six million jobs in two and a half years from the Agriculture sector," he said.

 In their various remarks during the inauguration of the South-West Zonal Office of  Buhari Osinbajo (MBO) Dynamic Support Group on Saturday in Ibadan, Kalu and Shittu called on the people to support Buhari and his vice to serve them for another term.

Kalu also called on President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC to settle the dispute between Gov. Abiola Ajimobi and Mr Adebayo Shittu, the Minister of Communication  which started during a rally at the State APC Secretariat located in the Oke-Ado.

His words "We have decided to take the case upon ourselves and see that it is resolved. We call on the president, Vice-President and National leaders of our party to intervene".

"When two giants are fighting, the grass suffers. The most important thing is that we must say the truth"

"For us, we are students of preaching peace and unity. We are students, who say the truth. We are students , who are no afraid of telling people what we feel that is not right.

Kalu added that the chances of the party in the state come 2019 could be affected if the rift is not settled.
