Musicians are not miscreants; we are well cultured - Taye Currency

Ibadan based Fuji icon Alhaji Taye Adebisi, popularly known as Taye Currency openly disclosed that gone are the days when musicians, especially Fuji artists are tagged to be a set of mannerless scoundrels, we are responsible professionals, he said.

Speaking with the Fuji icon briefly after a show in  Ibadan, the Oyo state capital recently, "Currency" lamented that Poeple's perception concerning  fuji artists is not too good."Many think we are maner-less, they see us as drug addicts, saying we can't go on stage without taking drugs, some parents even discourage their child who has musical talents, owing the facts that music industry is a no go area for the educated.

In responds to this he said " Fuji artists are responsible people just like you, we take care of our family, we give our children sound education, we value our job as other professionals protect their jobs.

Taye currency who recently received an award of excellence in his home town appreciated his fans across the glove for believing in his musical career.
