Be the first to know that the Nigeria Association of Women journalists(NAWOJ), Oyo State Chapter would commence its annual press week on Sunday
This is included in a statement signed by Ajoke Adekola, the Chairperson, 2014 Planning Committee and made available to newsmen in ibadan on saturday.
The group said that the theme "National conference on "Rape" was raised to tackle issues related to women and children.
"It is our desire to enlighten the public on the rising rape related cases in our society and how female children are exposed to various abuse on a daily basis".
"We hereby call on the General public,Government Parastatals,Security agencies,Media owners,NG0's handling issues relating to women and children to join us throughout this program",the statement reads in part.
Among the activities lined up to mark the weeklong are thanksgiving service on Sunday, September 28, the Opening Ceremony on Monday,likewise facility tour /Novelty match on Tuesday,
Other are Medical day on wednesday, Anniversary Lecture/Awards on Thursday and Jumat Service ends the event on Friday.
