Lawmaker's wife sensitize constituents on Ebola Virus Disease
Wife of Rep Dokun Odebunmi,Mrs Oluwatoyin Odebunmi, representing Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency in Oyo State sensitized constituents on the outbreak of Ebola Virus Disease.
Held at both Ajaawa and Iresaadu in Oyo State was meant to train women in the constituency the necessary precautions to take on Ebola outbreak
The sensitization progarm was attended by health workers, market women and women leader across the constituency on sunday in oyo state.
In her speech, the wife of the law maker disclosed that maintaining good personal hygiene by washing hands regularly at least for 20 seconds was the cheapest way to prevent Ebola.
Odebunmi implored the staff to be healthy conscious,take proactive measure to prevent themselves from being infected with the deadly disease.
She urged them to be at a great distance with carriers, desist from eating bush meat and report any strange feelings within their body system to health workers in the communities.
