LAUTECH picks up 2014 Google marketing icon.

There seems to be happy moment for the students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso as the school representative contested and won the 2014 Google Online Marketing contest.

The winning team led by Dr Tayo Arulogun,LAUTECH acting Director of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) made a victorious statement with their well braced performance.

The result which was obtained online with a statement dated Sept 4,pronounced the institution victory in the Google marketing contest.

The statement titled ``2014 Google Online Marketing Challenge results’’ revealed that the team had worked with"Automedics limited"an automobile maintenance workshop suggesting free advisory attention tips.

LAUTECH Vice-Chancellor,Prof. Adeniyi Gbadegesin, however commended the huge effort implemented by the winning team to prostrate other counterparts especially from those students whose courses are not in any form related to ICT.

He disclosed that the curriculum which makes it mandatory for all students to register and offer same courses at the 100 level has immensely contributed to the growth and development of the institution.

Gbadegesin advised the team to be diligently alert in other to acquire new techniques while on visit to the Google office in Dublin.

The team members from the mechanical engineering department include Adedoyin Jelili with matriculation  no 084447, Olayanju  Abiodun (082509)and Adeosun Oluwole (100431).

From the Urban and Regional Planning Department are Akadiri Olawole(104653) and Adesina Jamiu. (103967 ) with Salami Ismaila (082988) of the department of Pure and Applied Chemistry.
