Committee of friends picks up Alao- Akala nomination form for Alao- AkalaAlalo
Committee of friends to Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala former Oyo State governor yesterday trooped out to pick up his expression- of- interest form to contest for the governorship position come 2015 election.
Alhaji Rasaq Gbadegesin,former Deputy Chief of Staff in the state led the committee members to PDP Secretariat, Dandaru, Queen Elizabeth Road, Mokola, Ibadan.
Gbadegesin explained that the committee members gathered at the party sectariat to obtain the expression- of- interest form which served as a guide to anybody who intended to contest for any political office in the Peoples Democratic Party.
"On behalf of our principal, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, we are here to agree with the directive of our political party" he said
The receipt of payment was issued by two of the party executives,Mrs Kehinde Eboda,Financial Secretary and Alhaji Kehinde Salawu, Publicity Secretary.
Dr. Kola Balogun, speaking on behalf of the committee however promised to assist and work as a team in order to transport Alao akala back to the governor seat.
" Our motive as committee of friends to Otuba Adebayo Alao-Akala is to pick governorship form him to implement what he had laid foundation for to and to throw out government of poverty in Oyo state,"he added.
Other members of the committee comprised former Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Mrs Kemi Jayeoba-Olorunsogo,Alhaji Tunde Olayiwola Alhaji Laide Busari, and host of PDP admirers.
